TICK-TOCK BOWLES IS ON THE CLOCK

After a heinous 41-10 blowout at MetLife Stadium by the abysmal Buffalo Bills, Todd Bowles could very well be fired as early as tomorrow.

The Jets had no right losing this game as they are now dead last in their division at 3-7. It will be nearly impossible for the Jets to make the playoffs. Johnson should start looking now for a new head coach, one who is better at time management, and one who knows how to win football games. Today, the Jets were held without a first down until close to halftime. Even though the Jets were without Darnold, Anderson, and Powell they should’ve outplayed the struggling Bills anyway.

Backup quarterback Josh McCown who was having his best season by far last year could not get into a rhythm. He completed only 17 of 34 passes for 135 yards, no touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. It was painfully evident that McCown was not comfortable in or out of the pocket which could be due to his lack of reps during preseason because of Darnold being chosen as #1.

In addition, the Jets defense allowed 4th string quarterback Matt Barkley to get comfortable taking successful shots downfield. Somebody needs to come in soon and turn this entire franchise around.

Previously, the goal was to help develop Darnold however, all Bowles and the rest of the Jets have done is cause him to go backward. I’m sending out an S.O.S. Keep being hopeful Jets fans….Darnold can still be the one!
