Jets Vs Bills Preview

As another week of depression rolls on, The Jets play host to Josh Allen, Stephon Diggs and the Buffalo Bills. Coming off of a 24-0 loss in Miami to the Dolphins last week, just about nothing seemed right in that game. Maybe with some luck and a few prayers, the Jets can defend home turf and take down the AFC East division leading Bills, who are coming off of two straight losses themselves.

WR Denzel Mims makes his Jets debut today
Although there have been many downfalls as of recent, The Jets will get back QB Sam Darnold today and WR Denzel Mims will make his Jets debut as well. The second round pick out of Baylor has had tons of upside this year, but has been on IR since week one with a nagging hamstring injury. It will be interesting to see how him and Darnold connect today and if that could potentially be a favorite target of his going forward. WR Jamison Crowder is out today with a groin injury and when you know things can't worse, K Sam Ficken is out with a groin injury as well. Sergio Castillo will make his NFL debut for the Jets off the practice squad as their kicker today as well.  Mims will definitely see more action with that injury to Crowder.

For the quick Bills preview, as most of us know, they like to play well against the Jets. QB Josh Allen had a field day earlier on this year when they saw the Jets back in week one. WR John Brown played well that day and WR Stephon Diggs is another huge piece of this offense. Although the Bills have failed to have a 100 yard rusher in the past 3 weeks, (source Judy Batista NFL.com) they still have a solid RB in Devin Singletary and it would come as no surprise if they utilize him a lot today because of that. The Jets defense must be on their toes.

The big key to the Jets trying or attempting to win this game would be to keep the penalties down and consistency throughout. That's a big ask for this team, but anything is possible. For the prediction, it wouldn't be any surprise if the Jets just don't show up today, and the likelyhood is they won't. I'll sadly have to take the Bills here winning this one 27-7.
